Noah is at grandma's

So I am posting a jillion things tonight...why you ask?? Well Noah is at Gramma's having his weekly sleepover and I need to catch up! We had such a fun Christmas. We had partys and decorated gingerbread houses and saw the lights at Temple Square. Noah was in awe of the statue of Christ. Noah told him happy birthday and he loved him and heavenly father and the holy ghost...he was on a roll!! We had christmas eve with Kirk's family. We opened gifts and had the best potatoes ever!! Noah put out half eaten oreos for Santa...but Santa didn't mind...he still ate them. Noah got his Hummer...YIPEE...We went to my parents where Noah was showerd with more gifts. Gifts that he liked better than what Santa brought..oh well. I got some cute shirts and shoes. We had a really great day and played games with the family and pigged out on goodies. It was a really great Christmas....and yes photos will be on their way soon.

Too many fun things!!

It has been a while since I posted. There have been alot of fun things that we have done. We had a great thanksgiving with Kirk's sister Debbie and brother Marty and their families. Noah loves his cousin Liz. She is 8. He followed her everywhere and they went on a cat hunt( Deb has 6 cats)he also drove a jeep with Liz. Another fun highlight was going to build a bear with Jer, Autumn and Lisa. Noah made a penguin named Poppi. Poppie giggles and had to have sunglasses. We have seen Santa 2 times(at the mall and thanksgiving point) We drove around thanksgiving point to see the lights. We also saw reindeer and ran into the Goodrich family which is always fun! Noah was really excited to see the kis and run around with them. When we saw santa at the mall Noah asked Santa "Where are your reindeer?" a little suspicious. Santa said on the roof. Noah asked for a Hummer. Thank you QVC for having one:) I looked everywhere and ended up finding it there....whooo good thing! We also went to see the Hogle Zoo lights and eat deep fried smores. I was the picture of sexy while eating that thing. It was running down my chin...glorious sight I must say. So this has been a really fun time and I enjoy watching Noah love christmas and ask if baby Jesus wears a diaper and if the elves came to see him. I am trying to unmix the two. He is so big boy lately. We went to church on sunday and he asked to wear cologne to curch... it being a special occasion and all. Oh how I love this boy!!

The Luckiest

I am having one of those mornings where I am just thinking back about all the joy that my sweet boy has brought into mine and my husband and families lives. I LOVE this little boy so much. He has my heart. I just feel so blessed to be able to have this experience of being a Mother. I love how when he was a baby he would clasp his hands together before he fell asleep. I love how he would smile through his binki. I love his beautiful eyes. It has been so amazing watching him grow. I love how he says Mommy after everything he asks me. "Are you happy mommy?", "Am I happy mommy?". The other night he was sleeping over at grammas and said " I am going to sleep over at grammas, will you miss me mommy?" I say "yes". "I will miss you too mommy?" There is a song that makes me cry when I hear it and it just reminds me of how I feel about my son. So here I will share some more lyrics with you.

So Noah is in love with Rudolph and Clarisse. I got these little stuffed animals at Hallmark and Clarisse kisses Rudolph and his nose lights up and he says "I'm cute, she thinks I'm cute" and now Noah is in love. He carries them everywhere. He sleeps with them. He kisses and cuddles them and tells them he loves them so much as big as the sky. He asks me to pretend to be clarisse and talk to him. I get a high pithced voice and we have great conversations. It is so cute to watch him be all nurturing to his stuffed animals. Not only does he love his reindeer but his monkey "Louie". We don't leave home with out them. Noah is just the cutest ever. I love him to the moon and back! He says he loves me to the Universe! How lucky am I?? Really does it get any better than that??

The Ring

So the other night Noah and Kirk went grocery shopping. When they got home Noah ran in the house yelling "Mama Mama I have a ring for you" He handed me a plastic egg and I opened it and inside was this beautiful ring that Noah got me from the 25 cent machine. He asked me to hold out my finger and insisted on putting it on my finger for me. How Sweet!! I know it says scream on it but I LOVE it, He is so thoughtful and I am gonna wear this ring all the time. I just ADORE my son and am so greatful that he is MINE:)

Lovin October

We have had a super fun October. We went to the scarecrow festival and won "chuck" the liazrd...big hit. We carved punkins..well I did Noah just wanted to eat ice cream with gramma. We decorated our house with spooky haunted houses. We saw the withces at gardner village(to see photos go to my space). Of course Halloween parties and trick or treating...which I will post pictures later. So far here are some pix of our fun October.

good times

This is a blog without pictures....so it may not be super exciting. I just have a lot of pictures to load into the computer and some stories to go along with, I just really suck at posting pictures on here. We have had some fun times and I am working on getting the pictures up. This blog I realize is kind of pointless. I hope my brother will read it and leave and amazing comment. Did I tell you that he is going to be a daddy in december?? Yep, Jer and his own little heartlight. Noah is so excited. so excited that this morning he took one of his construciton play guys and wrapped it in a paper towell and shoved it up his shirt. He came over to me and said " look I am having a baby" then he proceeded to point out where the head, butt and feet were positioned. (Autumn was over the other night and showed him where baby boy larsens head etc were) he's a little copy cat. He also told me the baby would be born at christmas and that his belly was big and beautiful. Where do they come up with these things?? I laughed really hard. Noah is always crackin me up lately with the stuff he says. He saw something the other day and told me it was beautiful like a rainbow....maybe I listened to cyndi lauper too much with him?? Well just a goofy update till I can put up pumpkin carving and our halloween party..so until then....have a fantastic day!!!

Jordan came to play!!

Jordan came to play yesterday!! Oh great JOY!! Noah considers Jordan his brother and Jordan considers Noah his brother. They might as well be. Jordan was at the hospital the day Noah was born. Jordan came into my life at 4 months old when I became his nanny. I nannied him for a year and then my sis, Mandi, nannied him until he was 4 years old. He is 5 now and goes to kindergarten so Mandi doesn't nanny anymore, sniff sniff, we miss Jordan. We still stay in touch and have playdates as much as we can. When they occur it's like heaven for the both of them. We have a traditon of going to the pumpkin patch. We have gone the past 4 halloweens. So of course that is where we went yesterday. They had a riot playing in the hay bale maze, and touching all the creepy halloween decor. They both picked out pumpkins to paint and they loved playing pirates on the pirate ship. It is so fun to watch them toghether. Noah can't leave Jordan alone. The whole time he had to hold Jordan's hand and asked him questions every 5 seconds, it was funny. Jordan are you happy?? are you a boy?? do you like pumpkins?? and Jordan kept asking Baby Noah (that is what Jordan calls him) to say big words like thermometer and frankenstein just to see how good he could say it, he did well. I am greatful for our connection with Jordan. When we dropped Jordan off last night Noah said, "I am going to miss you, please stay with me" and he had to kiss him smack on the mouth. Anywhoo its just adorable and FUN!! I am putting up a slideshow of their day yesterday and also the past halloweens. ( I am better at slide shows then posting pix on here.) Enjoy

My boys

Finally I got a day out with my boys. The weather was nice last week and Kirk had a day off yay for me. We went to the castle park. Noah is a little intimidated by it, its really tall and lots of hideouts and spaces, you could lose your kid in there I swear. Noah loved playing frisbee and swinging with his Daddy. Noah and Kirk are so cute together, Noah loves his dad and vice versa. They have a sweet little relationship. I love to watch them together, it makes me cry. I know I am a centimental fool ha ha. We just had so much fun enjoying the weather and eachother. I love family days like this and feel so completed and blessed to have these sweet boys in my life. I am a lucky lady, as Noah would say..he calls me a lady lately, like I don't feel old enough already!!

I'm going to the zoo

We finally made it to the zoo!! It was so much fun. Noah is obsessed with the big ball at the front, he played there for forever. Gramma and Pa and aunt chewy came with. Noah loves his family. Noah loved the snakes and the tigers. The new carousel was awesome, he chose to ride a zebra with grandma, it scared him a little at first and then he thought it was cool. One of the other favorite things at the zoo...chasing the peacocks, I swear one day he will get bitten...and it is a good thing there is glass or a fence enclosing the animals or he would be right in there with the poisonous toad. So for now he is obsessed with snakes. They chase us, and eat with us and want to play with us. He is such a funny kid. The things he says and comes up with crack me up. Off the story of the zoo, the other day, mandi, was trying to pretend she was magic and hiding a coin and Noah asked...mandi are you criss angel!! too funny, we watched a few episodes in front of him...hes a sponge, I didn't think he'd remember that. Anywhoo that's just the begining, this boy is all boy all imagination and I love it and sometimes I say I am selling him to the gypsies.

Dinosaurs

So we went to the u of u museum. I wanted to take Noah to the big thanksgiving point one but didn't have the funds so this had to do for the time being. Noah was scared of the dinosaur head at the beginning, I told him that you feed it money and it talks. So he put the money in the mouth and the dino started talking...scared him nicely. I told him it was not a real dinosaur, so he kind of started to like it, named it Alice.. he is funny about naming things. He liked diggin in the dirt for fossils, what boy doesn't love digging in the dirt?? He also loved the dinosaur bones and stuffed animals...shoulda gone to Cabella's and paid nothing. I sound so cheap I know. Anywhoo we had a fun time there, Noah is a little sponge and loves learning and soaking up information. Now on to the big museum....

Tribute to Sisters!!

A big tribute to my little sister Mandi, she is my person!! We share the same brain I swear, We think the same and we think we are hillarious! I think that Mandi is the funniest and I have so much fun being around her. Did I mention she is so strong? She has been through some tough times and she is STRONG!! I just want her to know that I am glad she is MY sister and I love her and would follow her to the ends of the earth and back. I have 27 years of really great memories and more to come Yay for me, I am lucky!! So here's to my rockstar sister and all of the fun we have!!
