This is Cohen Goodrich. He is a true miracle. I just have to share this story. This angel is my best friend, Heather's baby. He was born 10 weeks to soon. Let me start at the beginning of the story. At 16 weeks along Heather found out that she had a tear in her amniotic sac and was losing fluid, the fluid that keeps your baby alive. The docters told her there was nothing they could do. The doctors were not very posotive about the outcome. If there was not enough fluid then the baby could die, have no lungs and it was really scary what they said. Heather had a preisthood blessing. At 24 weeks she was admitted to the hospital because she was leaking fluid so badly and she started bleeding heavily, things did not look good. There was a couple times that the baby almost crashed, he was cutting his own cord off. Heather was amazing...she was so strong, and her faith was did not waiver. The Drs. and nurses called her the "walking miracle". At 30 weeks Heather had an emergency C-section and Cohen arrived small and sick. He was 3lbs.6oz. He had priesthood blessings and everyone prayed for him. He was in the NICU for a little over 6 weeks and he got to come home with no monitors or oxygen, just a beautiful baby boy who defied all the odds. Cohen is 4 months and adorable and doing Awesome!! He was meant to be here and whenever I see him I have to smile...I know that he is a miracle gift from god. Heather and her family are so lucky to have this sweet spirit. I love the gospel so much and the priesthood is amazing!! This story is so faith promoting and I love it and I love Heather and her family!!

What an amazing story, thanks for sharing. He is adorable!
Wow, what a trial for Heather and her family. I need to give her a call. Without your post, I wouldn't have known. I'm so glad that everything turned out on a happy note. The picture is adorable!!
That's precious...and amazing! Childbirth in itself is such a miracle; but, especially when you hear a story like that! We went through some of our own scares with our son & I know how hard that is to face the unknown of having a premie!! Glad to hear they're both doing ok...he's adorable, and she's obviously lucky to have a friend like you!
